As a descendant of Hilda, famous for her hamburgers and the family of the Pizza Garden (White Houses' name at one point), I proudly accept the name change to Fluff's and find the quality befitting of the restaurant.
-The service is mostly good, but I've found myself with an empty glass of tea on a few trips. My first visit of the restaurant, they didn't see me walk in and I waited 10m before someone asked if I'd been helped yet.
-The food is of excellent quality, and the portions are truly Texan-sized. I have not been disappointed once. Their Chalupa Pizza is a great rendition of the original.
It was delicious in my opinion. Garlic fries are the bomb, chicken fried steak was flavorful and huge. Also came with a salad and garlic toast. All for $9.99
-The wait time from having yur order taken and getting your food is 15m(burger and fries)-30m(steak). Not bad, not great.
Overall, it's a great place with good history. I eat here 1-2 times a week.
Love taking our family here for lunch or dinner. The service is wonderful, and food is even better. I am almost afraid of this place becoming too popular, because the wonderful all homemade food and relaxed, quiet atmosphere is unlike anything we've experienced. Wonderful.
Since I started working closer to downtown Floresville I recently started looking for places to sit down and have a good lunch. Before this I only heard good things about fluff's and decided to give it a shot. I came in with my work pal and got the special which was a burger with some fries and instantly loved place. Though I wasn't raving about place until I had their steak which was phenomenal and probably one of my top 5 steaks I've ever eaten. The best part was the pricing wasn't bad at all for what I got! Otherwise I highly recommend this place for lunch and even dinner, it's 100% worth it!
My steak was tender and flavorful. My husband ordered a chicken fried steak that was huge. He said it was delicious and the Mac and cheese was to die for.
